April 15, 2025 - Nebraska FSA will present on FSA drought resources for livestock producers as part of a University of Nebraska-Extension webinar. The webinar will be from 6:30-8 p.m. MT. Folks can view online or also have the option to attend in person at several host site locations where the webinar will be live-streamed. More information on this free program, including locations of host sites and where to register for the Zoom connection, can be found at this link.
Spotlights:
County FSA offices across Nebraska are now accepting applications for the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program (ECAP), a program designed to help producers mitigate the impacts of rising input costs and declining commodity prices. Learn more at this link. Pre-filled applications will be mailed to producers who submitted acreage reports to FSA for 2024 eligible ECAP commodities. These applications must be signed and returned to FSA. Visit the ECAP information page, under How To Apply, for other ways to apply for this assistance. The application window is open through Aug. 15, 2025.
