Contiguous Indiana Counties Affected – Jefferson and Switzerland

INDIANAPOLIS, March 26, 2025 - Physical loss loans through the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) can help producers repair or replace damaged or destroyed physical property essential to the success of the agricultural operation, including livestock losses. Examples of property commonly affected include essential farm buildings, fixtures to real estate, equipment, livestock, perennial crops, fruit and nut bearing trees, and harvested or stored crops and hay.

Impacted Area: Kentucky

Triggering Disaster: Excessive rain and flooding that occurred February 14, 2025, through February 18, 2025.

Application Deadline: November 18, 2025 

Primary Kentucky Counties Eligible: Allen, Barron, Carroll, Edmonson, Henry, Metcalfe, Monroe and Warren 

Contiguous Counties Also Eligible:

Indiana: Jefferson and Switzerland

Kentucky: Adair, Butler, Cumberland, Franklin, Gallatin, Grayson, Green, Hart, Logan, Oldham, Owen, Shelby, Simpson and Trimble

Tennessee: Clay, Macon and Sumner
