Whether you're expanding your operation or starting something new, our Farm Loan Program provides the financial support to shape your future. From our Farm Ownership Loans to Microloans for small and beginning farmers, these programs are tailored to your unique needs.
When severe weather like hurricanes, tornadoes, and droughts hit, the FSA is here to help you recover quickly. Our Disaster Assistance Programs, like the Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP), provide vital support when you lose livestock due to adverse weather, while the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) offers financial assistance to producers of non-insurable crops, ensuring your farm remains resilient and your livelihood secure.
Our Conservation Programs allow you to protect your land while boosting your bottom line. Initiatives like the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) and the Emergency Conservation Program (ECP) help you adopt sustainable practices that safeguard your farm against erosion, flooding, and other environmental challenges.
In a state where market stability is crucial, our Price Support Programs ensure you get your fair value for your hard work. Marketing Assistance Loans (MALs) and Loan Deficiency Payment (LDPs) provide the financial stability to navigate fluctuating markets and continue operations without disruption.
Our Outreach and Education initiatives meet the diverse needs of North Carolina’s farming communities. Whether it’s a workshop in Asheville or an online resource hub for eastern tobacco growers, these programs equip you with the knowledge to succeed. The Beginning Farmer and Rancher Program offers guidance on participating in USDA programs across FSA, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Rural Development (RD), and the Risk Management Agency (RMA), while our Targeted Outreach Initiatives ensure underserved communities statewide can access the resources they need to thrive.
The Farm Service Agency is more than a resource; we’re partners, hand in hand, committed to cultivating your success in farming.
