Urban and Innovative Producers, Public Invited to Attend November Meeting of Federal Advisory Committee for Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production 

WASHINGTON, Nov. 01, 2023 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) encourages urban producers, innovative producers and other stakeholders to submit comments for and virtually attend the upcoming public meeting of the Federal Advisory Committee for Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production (Committee) on Nov. 29, 2023.   

USDA Offers Additional Assistance for Certain Producers Through Coronavirus Food Assistance Program

(Washington, D.C., January 15, 2021) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will provide additional assistance through the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP), expanding eligibility for some agricultural producers and commodities as well as updating payments to accurately compensate some producers who already applied for the program. ATHENS, Ga., Dec. 13, 2022 – USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director (SED), Arthur Tripp, recently attended the Farmer Appreciation Breakfast in Valdosta, Georgia where he delivered remarks and provided farm program updates to local producers in attendance. honored local farmers in Lowndes and Echols counties for their significant contributions to the success of Georgia’s agriculture industry.
