USDA Designates 39 Virginia Counties as Primary Natural Disaster

Emergency Support to Producers in Surrounding Counties/Border States Also Available

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11, 2020 – Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue designated 39 Virginia counties as primary natural disaster areas. Producers who suffered losses caused by two separate disaster events may be eligible for U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) emergency loans.

To Date, USDA Has Issued $23.8 Million in Emergency Relief Program Payments to New Mexico Agricultural Producers

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, JUNE 30, 2022 – Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack recently announced, agricultural producers nationwide have already received more than $4 billion through the Emergency Relief Program (ERP), representing nearly 67% of the more than $6 billion projected to be paid through this phase of the program. FSA Makes Changes to Farm Loan, Disaster, Conservation and Safety Net Program to Make it Easier for Customers to Conduct Business

MADISON, Wis., March 26, 2020 – USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) county offices are open in Wisconsin by phone appointment only until further notice, and FSA staff are available to continue helping agricultural producers with program signups, loan servicing and other important actions. Additionally, FSA is relaxing the loan-making process and adding flexibilities for servicing direct and guaranteed loans to provide credit to producers in need.
