USDA Announces Updates for Honeybee Producers

WASHINGTON, Feb. 26, 2020 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) today announced updates to the Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees and Farm-Raised Fish Program (ELAP). These updates include changes required by the 2018 Farm Bill as well as discretionary changes intended to improve the administration of the program and clarify existing program requirements.

USDA Designates Three Idaho Counties as Primary Natural Disaster Areas

Emergency Support to Producers in Surrounding Counties Also Available

WASHINGTON, July 8, 2020 — Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue designated three Idaho counties as primary natural disaster areas. Producers in Blaine, Camas, and Custer counties who suffered losses due to recent drought, may be eligible for U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) emergency loans.
