Producers, Beat the Rush – Call Today to Make an Appointment
WASHINGTON, D.C., Jan. 15, 2020 – USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) encourages agricultural producers to enroll now in the Agriculture Risk Loss (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs. March 15, 2020 is the enrollment deadline for the 2019 crop year.
(SALT LAKE CITY, Utah), June 22, 2022 – Agricultural producers who have not yet completed their crop acreage reports after spring planting should make an appointment with their local County Farm Service Agency (FSA) before the applicable deadline.
WASHINGTON, D.C., June 17, 2020 – Agricultural producers who have not yet enrolled in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) or Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for 2020 must do so by June 30. Although program elections for the 2020 crop year remain the same as elections made for 2019, all producers need to contact their local USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) office to sign a 2020 enrollment contract.

This Secretarial natural disaster designation allows the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) to extend much-needed emergency credit to producers recovering from natural disasters through emergency loans.
Applications for New Commodities Accepted Beginning July 13
SPRINGFIELD, Illinois, July 14, 2022 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is accepting offers for more than 3.1 million acres from agricultural producers and private landowners through this year’s Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) Grassland Signup, the highest in history. The signup’s results include 550 acres in Illinois.

This program provides direct relief to producers facing market disruptions and associated costs because of COVID-19.
