BOZEMAN, Montana, October 07, 2020 – Farmers and ranchers working with USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) or Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) can now sign and share documents online in just a few clicks. By using Box or OneSpan, producers can digitally complete business transactions without leaving their homes or agricultural operations. Both services are free, secure, and available for multiple FSA and NRCS programs.

WASHINGTON, April 1, 2022 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced loan interest rates for April 2022, which are effective April 1, 2022. USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) loans provide important access to capital to help agricultural producers start or expand their farming operation, purchase equipment and storage structures or meet cash flow needs.

USDA to Provide Payments to Livestock Producers Impacted by Drought or Wildfire

WASHINGTON, March 31, 2022 The U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced that ranchers who have approved applications through the 2021 Livestock Forage Disaster Program (LFP) for forage losses due to severe drought or wildfire in 2021 will soon begin receiving emergency relief payments for increases in supplemental feed costs in 2021 through the Farm Service Agency’s (FSA) new Emergency Livestock Relief Program (ELRP).

USDA Issues First Coronavirus Food Assistance Program Payments

Washington, D.C., June 4, 2020 – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue today announced the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) has already approved more than $545 million in payments to producers who have applied for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program. FSA began taking applications May 26, and the agency has received over 86,000 applications for this important relief program.

Guam County Farm Service Agency is Accepting Emergency Conservation Program Applications for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands

Barrigada, Guam, February 5, 2024 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director Ilene Iriarte today announced that Guam County is accepting applications for the Emergency Conservation Program (ECP) to address damages from Typhoon Bolaven in Rota, Saipan and Tinian Counties. ECP signup  is open now and will end on April 5, 2024.

Montana FSA: USDA Reports Record Enrollment in Key Farm Safety-Net Programs

WASHINGTON, April 21, 2020 – Producers signed a record 1.77 million contracts for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for the 2019 crop year, which is more than 107 percent of the total contracts signed compared with a 5-year average. USDA also reminds producers that June 30 is the deadline to enroll in ARC and PLC for the 2020 crop year.
