Patrick Bell was appointed by the Trump Administration to serve as the state executive director of the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Washington.

Bell is a Washington native with extensive experience in public service and deep roots in the agriculture industry. Prior to his appointment, he held senior leadership positions for Spokane County, former U.S. Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, and in higher education.

In the community, Bell volunteers with Stevens County Citizens Action, is a member of Sons of the American Legion, and a philanthropic supporter of Union Gospel Mission in Spokane and Veterans of Foreign Wars Posts around eastern Washington.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Pacific Lutheran University and a master’s degree in public administration from Seattle University.

Growing up, Bell was active in 4-H and FFA livestock programs and is still involved in his family’s multigenerational farms. Bell and his wife have two children and live on a small homestead in Suncrest, Washington.
